Lovin' the Ladybug!

So last night I got to sit down and use my Little Lady set from Papertrey Inc. Can I just say I TOTALLY love it? Not thrilled with the card I made. It was one of those 5 minute just use anything in front of you cards because I just wanted to use the set so I promise to do better next time. I'm thinking this stamp would be so cute in a little girls bedroom on the walls as a border! BUT I have boys and I don't think they would like that very much! LOL!

We have another Little League game tonight so not sure if I'll get a chance to do any scrappin' or stampin' but you better believe that I'm gonna try my hardest. I feel that my hobby has been way too neglected lately :( There just doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day.

Also, I start Weight Watchers next week so maybe I'll do less eating and more stampin'! Keep your fingers crossed!

My poor neglected blog :(

Nope, I have not given up on my blog. You know how it goes - kids are out of school, house is a mess, animals running around everywhere, grocery shopping, etc. Need I say more? Oh yea, and a long holiday weekend! Of course even a three day weekend did not give me enough time to get caught up with everything.
Can you believe it's almost June? YIKES! Where does time go? So now both my boys are out of school. When I left for work this morning they were both still snoozing. Boy would I of given anything to crawl right back in bed myself. We have the perfect weather today for crawling back under those covers. Thunderstorms on and off throughout the day. The kind where you light some candles and listen to the rain and RELAX. Ahhhhhhhh.....
What I can't believe is that I HAVE NOT used my Little Lady set from Papertrey Inc. yet!! What is wrong with me? So......you have my word that I will create tonight using that set and will have something to post tomorrow. Until then keep on scrappin' and stampin'!

THEY'RE HERE!!!

Oh my gosh, I just can't contain myself. Look what came in the mail today. My Papertrey Ink Little Lady set!!!!!! How am I ever going to get any work done? My mind is already racing with tons of ideas! AND to make matters even better I have a 3 DAY WEEKEND to play!!! I guess the only other thing I could wish for was that it was a payday! :) LOL!

I had every intent of making something last night to post today but fate just wasn't on my side. I had a little league game that seemed to take 13 innings then of course we were eating dinner at 8:30 p.m. :*( Bad bad bad for the metabolism! By the time I got the house cleaned up, laundry done, dishes washed it was 10:30 and I was exhausted. I promise I'll have some goodies to post over the weekend though.

Happy Thursday! Wow! This week has flown by. Today is the last day of school for my boys! They are EXTREMLEY ECSTATIC. Actually I'm pretty happy too. This means that I only have myself to get ready in the morning and they can sleep in while I head off to work. Remember those good ol' days when you got to look forward to summer vacation? I wish they had something like that in the "working world" too :) Hey, I can dream! :) he he he So last night I did yet another Bella card and an 8x8 scrapbook page. The 8x8 scrapbook page was a rather simple layout but I just love the colors! I'm hooked on brown at the moment. I also had a chance to count up my Bella's last night. I have 9 so far. And I think I have at least 9 more that I want PLUS tons of sentiments. Well I'm off to work. Have a spectacular day!

Yep! TWO POSTS IN ONE DAY! Woo-Hoo! I'm on a roll. I just wanted to share a wood block that I altered recently. I used Mod Podge to attach the paper which is from the Basic Grey Blush line. And then away I went with embellishing. I picked up the wood block from Archiver's for $3.99. Hope you enjoy.

I love my Bella stamps!

Good morning! So last night my youngest son had a baseball game which meant that we didn't even get home until almost 9:00 p.m. Gotta love those summer sports. Get off work, pick up boys, RUN to baseball field, visit the local McDonald's or Taco Bell, do laundry, pick up the house, go to bed! BUT I still threw two quick cards together using my lovely Bella stamps. I just can't get enough of these little ladies. I think I own close to 10 and there are so many more that are on my wish list! Emily the creator of these little treasures is such an inspiration. On both of the cards I used a color challenge from the Splitcoast site. As much as I love working with different colors you'll notice the more I post that I tend to use lots of purple and pink! :) I guess with two boys at home I just love any chance to use those GIRLY colors!

Hooked on altering!

Yes, I'm still hooked on altering! Soon I will be getting my very own stamp room and all the stuff I've been creating I plan to decorate my room with. I'm so excited! I've been working off the kitchen table for sooooooo very long! Last night I sat down and altered a mini clipboard that I picked up at Archiver's over the weekend. What do ya think? The words are Heidi Swapp rub-ons.

I just ordered the newest Papertrey Inc. Little Lady set! BUT it's on back order :( *crying* I can't wait to get this set in my pretty little hands! I've seen so many wonderful cards and scrapbook pages made with this set. I just fell in love with it the minute I saw it but unfortunately I didn't order it fast enough.

Movin' on up!

So it's official! I'm a "blogger". Well I guess I really can't say that until I get more up to speed on all this stuff. I hope to make new friends while sharing my love of stamping and scrapbooking. This weekend I got some much needed "me" time and did some crafting. Here are a couple of my creations. I'm becoming addicted to altering giant clothespins!
